Wes Burgess - Farrar's Bistro
Wes honed his soup making skills line cooking at Vancouver's Royal Oaks Country Club for nearly ten years. After that he followed his friend Debbie Belden (also of Royal Oaks fame) north to Felida's Farrar's Bistro. "I love working in a scratch kitchen, it really challenges you to create. Thankfully here in the northwest we're surrounded by countless fresh and local ingredients to choose from." Wes has been Farrar's head chef for four years. At home is his wife Kristy, Son Kyle, and Daughter Brenya.
Wes will be preparing Smoked Chicken Corn Chowder with Pork Belly Soup for Soup Week! Be sure and stop by Farrar's Bistro to order a bowl for dine-in or take it to-go! Hours of operation for Soup Week are:
