Tanner Poncik, Beaches Restaurant & Bar
When he was a child, Tanner’s mother worked as a schoolteacher, so his dad stayed home to take care of him and his sister. “My dad really can throw down in a kitchen.” At a very young age, he was exposed to all types of foods; his dad taught him to be resourceful when creating food. So that’s when his love for food began. At age four, his idea of creative food didn’t always taste the greatest, but after cooking professionally for more than 20 years, he’s honed his skills in that department. “I thrive on food competitions, so let’s bring it on at Soup Week this year!”
Tanner will be making Pasta Fagioli for Soup Week! Be sure and stop by Beaches for dine-in or order the soup to-go! Beaches hours of operation for Soup Week will be:
Mon – Tue, 11 am to 9 pm
Wed – Sun, 11 am to 10 pm
