Establishing deeper connections between local entrepreneurs and our community
is the heartbeat of my work.” Local business owner Jessica Chan’s entrepreneurial/maker
journey fuels her passion for supporting and elevating like-minded creators.
Jess is the founder and owner of Night Market Vancouver and Pop-Local.
When she is not devoting her time to supporting our small businesses or partaking in
community projects, she enjoys embarking on new adventures with loved ones.
Ben Surrett was born and raised in Wisconsin. He and his wife Angela moved to
the Pacific Northwest in 2004.
They started a small business called Helping Hand Equity where their focus is
providing affordable housing.
He’s also the co-host of Business Over Beer podcast and cofounder of Passages to Success.
Jess & Ben—with their powers combined—are P2P! ‘Passages to Pop’ (a fun play on both of their business names combined).
“What we both align deeply about is putting action towards fueling a greater collective success!”
